The B2B decision making process can take time and it often requires many touchpoints before the actual conversion happens which means that B2B marketers need to utilize all of the marketing outlets that are available to them. Trade shows have long been a B2B marketing staple. Whether an individual representing your business is a keynote speaker or you have a booth set up, it provides an opportunity to network with others in the industry and present your products or services to attendees that are interested in what you have to offer. For an SEO campaign, it’s important to leverage all “traditional” marketing efforts, including trade show marketing.
Attending a trade show can be beneficial to an SEO marketing campaign mostly due to the content marketing opportunities that accompany it. Content is at the heart of an SEO campaign today because without it, it’s difficult to get any attention from the search engine spiders or end users. New content posted on other web properties will generate inbound links back to your site to improve search engine trust and content posted on your own site tells the search engines that you provide fresh content that aims to please visitors. Since content creation can be difficult, it’s important to take advantage of the material that results from taking part in an industry trade show.
Since presenting at or speaking at a trade show is news, the first place to start is to write a press release on the topic. Include information about the event, your business, and why your business is attending. To “SEO” the press release, be sure to include anchor text keywords that link back to your site. Distribute it through a paid PR service to improve the chances that it will get picked up by online media outlets and noticed by industry people that may include it in content of their own or by actual target audience members that may click over to learn more about what you have to offer. You can also use this press release as an outline to write a blog post on the topic and promote it in social media.
Don’t miss out on the content opportunities that happen while you are actually at the trade show. You might be busy, but set aside some time to live blog and post in social media about the event. Not everyone that might be interested in the trade show is attending, so your content could be their resource to learn about what’s going on. It will help to keep target audience members in the loop during the event. Unique trade show hashtags can be used to find others attending the trade show and connect with them in social media.
Filming some video while at the event, even on a simple smartphone camera, provides an opportunity to enhance your video marketing efforts. Shoot some video, make some simple edits, and share it on video sharing sites, within the blog, and throughout social media.
Write a follow up blog post once the event is over. Since it’s likely that you learned some new information at the event, use that information as topics to create blog content going forward.

Elasto Proxy designs and fabricates sheet stock, rubber sheet, and silicone sheet for many different industries and applications. Choose from our wide selection of standard sheet stock, or ask about our custom fabrication capabilities. Standard sheet shock is calendared and molded, made of foam or solid rubber, and available in various thicknesses. Custom fabricated sheeting comes in custom thicknesses and is available in specialty materials with laminates or adhesives already applied.
How to Choose Sheet Stock
Elasto Proxy provides standard and custom-fabricated sheeting made of natural or synthetic rubbers, rubber compounds or blends, and silicone. In addition to material and dimensions, durometer (duro) is an important specification to consider. A measure of hardness, duro indicates a material’s resistance to permanent indentation when a specific amount of pressure is applied. Rubber or silicone sheet stock with a lower durometer value is softer than rubber sheet or silicone sheeting with a higher value.
Natural Rubber Sheets
Natural rubber sheeting provides superior abrasion resistance and is ideal for sealing challenges that require high tensile and elongation characteristics. Resistant to many acids, bases, and organic salts, this type of sheet stock also conforms to surfaces with flanges and bolt heads. Natural rubber sheets have excellent tear strength and are relatively resilient for a material that doesn’t hold memory. Rubber sheet rolls can be cut to size with our water jet cutter for your specific application.
Synthetic Rubber Sheets
Synthetic rubber sheeting is used in applications ranging from industrial sealing to medical bandages. Neoprene, a versatile synthetic rubber, is useful over a wide temperature range and provides strong physical toughness. Resistant to ozone, sunlight, and weather, neoprene sheeting also resists many oils and chemicals. Depending upon your application, Elasto Proxy can source neoprene sheet rolls made of special anti-static or FDA-approved grades and then cut neoprene sheets to size.
Silicone Sheets
Silicone sheeting resists ozone, sunlight, and oxidation while providing excellent flexibility at low temperatures. A strong electrical insulator with superior color stability and a low compression set, silicone also withstands extreme temperature changes. Many silicone elastomers are one- or two-part polymers that contain filler materials to reduce costs. Specialty silicone sheeting is made of commercial grade (CG) or premium grade (PG) silicone, and includes both FDA-approved and translucent materials.
Custom Fabricated Sheets
For over 20 years, Elasto Proxy has provided high-quality, low-volume rubber products and sealing solutions to a wide variety of industries. Visit our website for more information, or contact us today. Do you need to source standard sheet stock, rubber sheeting, or silicone sheeting? Do you need to strengthen your supply chain with custom fabrication? Ask Elasto Proxy. How can we help you?

East Providence, RI – April 4, 2013 – From small welding robots to large palletizing robots, cable-carrier manufacturer igus® offers cable-guidance systems for a wide range of robotic applications. The latest addition to its multi-axis cable-carrier line is an adjustable retraction system. Triflex® RSP is designed for secure cable guidance on large robot arms or for robots programmed to perform complex movements.
Constant force progression
The force at which Triflex RSP retracts can be adjusted by changing the pressure inside its pneumatic cylinder. This means the cable carrier can be safely retracted, even when guiding a complex assortment of cables and hoses. Triflex RSP can be attached to various robot models quickly and easily thanks to its compact mounting brackets. The system is both space saving and lightweight.
Optional monitoring
An optional-monitoring system is available for robots whose program sequences frequently change, alternate, or are not 100-percent predictable. This is particularly useful for robots that are steered by cameras or image-acquisition systems. The monitoring is completed via a connection to the robot’s main controls or PLC. When a predetermined tolerance value is about to be exceeded, an early warning signal is given. This is also useful for those robots that must be frequently reprogrammed.
Multi-axis cable carriers for cable protection
Triflex R multi-axis cable carriers from igus can be used for power, data and media supply. The Triflex R range is specifically designed for robot operators and currently has around 250 components to guide cables and hoses securely through multiple axes. Three main designs are available: A fully enclosed design for complete cable protection in harsh applications exposed to chips and dirt; an “E-Z” version, into which cables and hoses can be quickly pushed by hand; and a lightweight version which is lower cost and can be rapidly assembled. The Triflex R multi-axis cable-carrier line has been used worldwide for years and is available from stock. Tensile forces are absorbed by the cable carriers, which significantly increases the life of cables and helps reduce downtime due to cable failure significantly.
