F.M. Callahan Exhibits at EASTEC and Fastener Shows

F.M. Callahan & Son (Malden, MA) recently announced their participation as Exhibitors in two important New England area Trade Shows as part of their ongoing marketing efforts as one of the nation’s oldest and accomplished electroplaters.

The New Englaand Fastener Distributor Show, held on April 30th in Sturbridge, MA is a biennial Table Top Show and the company made a morning presentation on “Plating & Coating Types” as part of the Show’s presentations, panel discussions, and Show Exhibits.

Next up on the company’s busy schedule was the exhibiting at the EASTEC Show in West Springfield, MA from May 14th to the 16th.

The EASTEC Show is the largest technology show for manufacturers in New England. Promoted by the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME); this is the premier source for manufacturing knowledge, education and networking. Through its many programs, events, magazines, publications and online training division; SME connects manufacturing practitioners to each other, to the latest technologies and to the most up-to-date manufacturing

In attendance for both events were F.M. Callahan’s Eric Jacklin (Company President) and plating specialist, Jim Adler. They manned the Callahan booth while talking and meeting with company representatives who were looking to find new suppliers to improve their quality, reduce their manufacturing costs, or to shorten time-to-market for their products.

Eric Jacklin recently commenting on his own company’s experience at Trade Shows; said that “Overall we have found the experience to be great in that the traffic of key people walking the show’s aisles tends to be impressive and we are able to generate sales leads with not only new accounts but existing accounts as well. We are able to put a face with a name of customers that we have talked with for years and able to provide a number of these accounts with new ideas for future projects”.
