Hampshire Controls Corporation Announces Release of New Temp-Check Rapid Response Thermometer

Product makes determining temperature of blood components easier, faster & non-invasive for lab technicians

DOVER, NH – July 10, 2013 — Hampshire Controls, a manufacturer of electronic temperature monitors, announced the release of the Temp-Check Rapid Response Thermometer. TC-12

“Very simple to use and I noticed that this model is accurate to +/- 1 C which is what I was looking for in a thermometer that was quick and easy to use.

99% of the units have a label on the back and trying to remove that label is a total pain to take the temperature.  So by taking the temperature through the label vs. direct contact to the plastic bag gave essentially the same result. ”

                               — Transfusion Services, York Hospital, PA

The Temp-Check measures the temperature of plasma, red blood cells, cryoprecipitate and other blood elements. Users simply place blood component bags on the insulated pad and receive a temperature reading within 10 seconds.  The lightweight unit includes rechargeable battery back-up for easy portability.

All products are made in the U.S.A. and have a one-year warranty.

Hampshire Controls can be FOUND here on MacRAE’s Blue Book.
